AccessRN, Inc. was founded by Joseph L. Pettee, BSN, RN, CRNI, in 2002, and has grown from a sole proprietorship to a thriving business serving multiple Midwestern states. AccessRN specializes in PICC, midline, and peripheral IV placements in all healthcare settings.

Ultrasound Used on Every Procedure
Each of the more than 15 members of the clinical staff carries a portable ultrasound machine, as well as all supplies needed to do any vascular access procedure, whether in an acute care hospital or a patient’s home. Our dispatching specialists answer the phone 24 hours per day, and our clinicians do procedures 365 days per year.

Professional Standards
AccessRN actively follows all guidelines set forth by The Association for Vascular Access, as well as the Infusion Nurses Society. AccessRN is also HIPAA compliant, follows all relevant JCAHO guidelines, and carries full professional and general liability insurance coverage.

Real-Time Quality Assurance
AccessRN has implemented an entirely paperless system, allowing us instant access to all clinical data, as well as making us a “green” choice. All AccessRN clinicians are actively monitored by a real-time Quality Assurance System, are subjected to annual and random competency checks, and participate in regular skill training sessions.
